Getting Around

To/From the Airport

It takes about 25-30 minutes from the airport to the Trylon hotel or McGill campus. Some transport options:

• 747 Airport Bus: a shuttle bus operated by Montreal's public transit network (the STM). There is a stop 2 blocks from the Trylon hotel at the corner of Rene-Levesque and Jeanne-Mance streets.
  • Cost is $10, either in cash (coins only!), or by buying a STM day pass at a metro station, or by pre-purchasing your ticket at the machine in the airport.
• Taxi: a fixed rate of $40 + tip for a taxi between the airport and the city centre. Mini-vans are available at no extra charge.
• Teo Taxi: taxi service summoned by the Teo Taxi smartphone app, that you download ahead of time. They serve the airport with Tesla electric cars, and the car will wait for you at a specific location, avoiding the taxi line. $40 + tip.
• UBER is available throughout Montreal, but is NOT allowed to pick up at the airport.

To/From the Venue

From the Trylon hotel, walking is strongly recommended. Montreal's policy of reducing automotive traffic in the downtown core has led to a network of one-way streets that can make it a challenge to get from A to B. On foot, allow twenty minutes for the blue dotted route, or twenty-five minutes for the grey route (with added beverage opportunities).
