Math 2 Honors

Welcome to Mrs. Ferguson's Math 2 Class

This course will continue topics covered in Math I. It will be a combination of the traditional Algebra 2 and Geometry courses. Topics will include functions such as quadratic, inverse variation, and square roots. Geometric concepts covered in this course are transformations, trigonometry, similarity and congruence. Probability concepts will also be covered. Students will have opportunities to take greater responsibility for their learning via projects and extended assignments. This class will have a state mandated Common Exam at the end of the semester.

Syllabus

All students will receive a syllabus on the first day of class. It needs to be taped onto page one of their interactive notebook.
