          • Former guest of the show - SHOW NOTES HERE.
          • Film Class is using WeVideo, Adobe Spark, iMovie, to create a documentary about their lives during this time.
          • The students have to interview at least 3 guests using some sort of way to continue social distancing; Zoom, Google Meet, FaceTime, Facebook Messenger Video, etc.
          • She has never done a documentary project and wonders about the possibility of using it next year as well.

  • 05:00 - Kori Ellis, 1st Grade, Mill Creek East Elementary
          • Kori is using Flipgrid because it's easy to assess in video format.
          • She used it to watch students count money, talk about cause and effect, study plot, talk about problem and solutions, and for students to read a story.
  • 06:01 - Amy Wachnicki, High Ability, Mill Creek East Elementary
          • Amy is using Screencastify to record videos.
          • Some newer things that Screencastify has improved are
            • Reading Aid Masks, Picture-in-Picture, split screen, auto focus, zoom, and loves how it auto-saves to Google Drive.
          • Amy also likes how Flipgrid now lets you switch cameras and likes how she can use it for students to record short presentations.
          • Amy also will use Google Forms as an exit ticket following lessons.
          • You can follow Mrs. Wachnicki at https://twitter.com/amywachnicki
  • 07:59 - Hannah Brame - 3rd Grade, Mill Creek East Elementary
          • Hannah used Flipgrid in her classroom before mandatory home learning and says the transition was really easy.
          • She also uses Screencastify to record videos and likes how the 5 minute time limit on the free version, helps her keep her focus and being clear.
          • Being a Canvas user, she has found that limiting links so students stay in Canvas has been helpful.
          • She's been using Quizzes and Discussion within Canvas so they don't have to leave the LMS. Doing this also keeps the grading within Canvas' Speedgrader and helps with the grade passback to PowerTeacher.
  • 09:34 - Sara Gauck - Kindergarten, Mill Creek West Elementary
          • Sara and other at Mill Creek West have started using Seesaw during this time.
          • She has used Seesaw to search for activities to schedule them to her students, do shape sorts, splitting words, and fluency reads.
          • She also likes how the students can record themselves so she can hear their voices.
  • 10:47 - Luke Hollin - 3rd Grade, Mill Creek East Elementary
          • Luke and his students have also jumped got on the Flipgrid Fever bandwagon. He uses it for Morning Meetings. He also noted that the students picked that up really quickly.
          • Luke individually purchased the Unlimited edition of Screencastify so he can record longer than what the free version gives you.
          • He also mentions using the Chrome extension Write on Web to write on top of the worksheets or pdfs he would normally use in his class.
          • Luke also mentions embedding YouTube Videos directly into Canvas.
  • 12:21 - Thanks - Thanks to these teachers for giving up their time to share. I know their plates are full and am really appreciative.
