Keicher Elementary Literacy

Our district goal is for all students to see themselves as readers and work to continually improve students' literacy skills. Students who are striving to reach benchmark levels will receive additional support from Mrs. Porter on a scheduled basis until adequate progress is achieved. Students in 3rd and 4th grade will participate in Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI) three to five times a week working on key literacy skills. Our 5th and 6th grade teachers receive literacy coaching support to enhance their literacy instruction to all students.
