Friends of the MOTT Library News

The Friends of the Mott Library organization was established in 1989 and became a part of the Foundation for Mott Community College. Through various fundraising efforts, our volunteer-driven organization work to supply materials, equipment, technology and service essentials that students rely on every day and help make our college library a place of learning, creating, and thriving. The success of these efforts has allowed the Friends to create a scholarship endowment, which awards a selected student board intern each year. Additionally, this endowment helps ensure that the Friends will be able to support library initiatives for many years to come. The Friends have also been able to install the Grayce Scholt Family Study Room, a safe and private space for student parents to study with their chidlren. Our Friends Memorial Garden honors the devoted members whose generous giving and service helped strengthen and enrich our college library and offers a warm welcome to our entrance.
