Servos are small motors that you can control with your micro. Which type do you have?
A continuous rotation servo spins around and around, like a wheel. You can control its speed and direction.
A positional servo moves to a set angle within a limited range, often 0° to 180°. You can use it to move parts back and forth.
A servo controller helps power your servo and connects it to your microbit, allowing you to control its movement.
A servo can be connected directly to your Microbit. Make sure each wire is connected to the correct pin.
Tip: If your servo isn’t working, check the connections. A faulty wire or alligator clip could be the cause—test it or try a replacement.
Task 1: Program a 180 Degree Servo
Connect an object to your servo!
Move an object from A to B

Task 2: Program a Continuous Servo
Connect an object to your servo!
Make the object (the sun) move up or down
Move a flap on a wing or door
Using a SERVO board will simplify wiring!
