What actions trigger another movement in the marble run?
Work together with your table group to design and build a marble run that demonstrates how forces and energy can create movement!
Your goal is to create a marble run where one action causes another action to happen, creating a chain reaction.
Your marble run must include:
A starting point: Design a starting position where your marble can begin moving.
Energy transfer: Include at least one point where energy is transferred from one object to another. For example, a moving marble hits another marble, causing it to roll.
A trigger action: Include at least one point where an action triggers a new movement. For example, a ball and string fall, pulling or knocking something that starts another marble rolling.
A chain reaction: Your marble run should include a sequence of movements where one action causes the next action to happen.
A successful finish: Design a final point where your marble reaches its destination or triggers a final action.
