Cutting Paper

The Design Lab stocks a wide range of paper and card materials in many sizes, colours, and finishes to support creative projects and prototyping.

We carry rolled brown craft paper, rolled white cardstock (350 GSM), and a large selection of A3 and A4 paper in both lightweight paper (90 GSM) and heavier card (150 GSM) options. You also have access to specialty craft papers, with new and unique materials often introduced throughout the year. As part of our commitment to sustainability and design thinking, we also produce and stock our own recycled paper for selected projects.

Heavy-duty Scissers

Heavy-duty scissers are used to cut thick cardboard, plastic, and even thin sheets of metal.

Don't cut thick metal or heavy plastics.

Left & Right Handed Scissers

Light duty scissers are used to cut paper and thin sheets of cardstock.

Don't cut cardboard.

Giving back is one way you can support our lab. You can help by bringing in boxes and paper for recycling. We have also had companies donate the cardboard you are using.

Cardboard Cutter

The cutter is great for cutting straight lines. Did you know you can measure on the cutting surface?

Remember to cut small cuts muliple times.
