Breaking Barriers, Changing Sports: The Sports4All Journey
Imagine a world where every person, regardless of gender, has a fair chance to play, compete, and excel in sports, where women and men receive identical resources, support, and recognition—from national team budgets and training facilities to leadership roles within sports organizations. That's exactly what Sports4All aims to make happen!
Our Mission
We believe sports should be for EVERYONE. No exceptions. Our project is more than just an initiative – it's a movement towards true equality and inclusion in the sporting world. Eliminating gender inequalities in sports creates a meritocracy where talent and dedication determine success. This approach empowers female athletes, enriches sports with diversity and innovation, and establishes a fair environment where all athletes can pursue their dreams without discrimination.
Who We Are
A dedicated team of passionate organizations from Portugal, Croatia, and Romania, led by Sportrack and united by one powerful goal: creating equal opportunities in sports. Joining Sportrack in this initiative are MBU Intelligence, DAR, and EISKDH, collectively leveraging their expertise to drive meaningful change. This collaborative effort serves as a pilot project, laying the groundwork for a more expansive initiative planned for 2027. The broader vision aims to extend the project's impact to most European countries and beyond, amplifying its transformative potential in the global sports arena
Our Vision
The "Sports 4 All" project envisions a future where sports are truly inclusive and equitable for all genders. Our mission is to break down the barriers that hinder equality in sports by fostering a culture of inclusivity and empowerment. In the first phase, we will focus on promoting gender equality, increasing women's participation in sports, and enhancing leadership opportunities for women in the sports sector.
In the second phase of the project, we aim to develop and implement a comprehensive Master's degree or post-graduation course specifically designed for the leadership development of women in sports. This educational program will equip women with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to excel in leadership roles within sports organizations. By doing so, we will not only empower individual women but also contribute to a broader shift towards a more balanced and inclusive sports ecosystem across Europe.
Why This Matters
Sports aren't just about winning or scoring points. They're about building confidence, creating opportunities, breaking down stereotypes, and bringing people together. Every time we create a more inclusive sporting environment, we're building a better, more understanding society.
Through this initiative, we aspire to create a lasting impact that transcends national borders, aligning with the core values of the Erasmus+ program and the European Union's commitment to equality and diversity. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that sports become a powerful tool for social change, promoting gender equality and empowering future generations of women leaders in the sports sector.
