Moko Moko

M4 designed this mosaic to reflect significant motifs of Aotearoa. There are just over one hundred known species of lizard in New Zealand, and more are being discovered every year. Tessellating and repeating colour patters have been used to represent the scales of a Lizard.

Moko Moko is ready to hang outside or inside. It is backed onto a waterproof product called Aquamox and the grout has been sealed. It has a washer in each corner left untouched for screws to go into. Moko Moko is 600mm x 600mm. Want to see this in person please contact Freya on marraf@mbas.ac.nz
