Agriculture doesn’t take a summer vacation, and neither should your passion! Summer Ag Exploration is a personalized program designed for Mayville Agricultural Students to choose the opportunities they take advantage of. The summer program is designed for students who want to turn their summer projects, leadership activities, and fair prep into high school credit.
Whether you are a seasoned FFA officer or a younger student just starting your first project, this course offers a flexible, hands-on schedule that adapts to your summer plans. You're already doing the work; it’s time to get the credit you deserve.
Forget the four walls of a classroom. You build your own summer schedule from a variety of opportunities:
Ø Leadership Development: Kick off the season at the State Leadership Convention in June.
Ø SAE Growth: Summer SAE visits to help your individual projects thrive.
Ø Outdoor Sports: Aim for excellence with the Summer Trap Shoot series.
Ø Community Service: Give back at the annual Steak Fry and other local volunteering opportunities.
Ø Fair Projects: Show off, Learn something new & showcase your work at the Dodge & FDL County Fairs.
Ø Local Tradition: Wrap up the summer at the Theresa Lions Tractor Pull in late August.
