Goal of website
The Society of Mayflower Descendants in the State of Arkansas (ASMD) recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of the users of this website and its members. The ASMD website is a communication avenue for providing information to its members and the community. The goal of ASMD's website is to encourage member/client participation, to enable electronic service delivery to both members and the public, and to provide timely information.
Privacy
Our members’ and guests’ privacy is very important to us. ASMD does not use its website to collect personal information for any purpose other than to respond to a user's request or input. Profiles are created and used for GSMD application process only. Otherwise, our host provider may collect anonymous statistics for the sole purpose keeping track of our site usage.
ASMD will not send you unsolicited email regarding any commercial offers or advertisements at any time. ASMD does not collect information for commercial marketing from its website.
If a user chooses to provide ASMD with personal identifying information, such as sending an e-mail to a ASMD member or by filling out and submitting an application, ASMD may use that information to respond to the user's request, to assist in obtaining information the user may have requested, or use the information in application form. ASMD treats e-mails the same way it treats written correspondence.
Nevertheless, the provisions of this section, information submitted to ASMD's website may be subject to disclosure to another party pursuant to various provisions of the law.

ASMD will take all reasonable precautions to safeguard the confidentiality of such information, but shall nevertheless not be held liable for any injury caused by the disclosure of that information, whether caused by security breach, accident, inadvertence, or any other act resulting in disclosure
