First Quarter Focus:
Students are learning about utilizing different criticial lenses of literary analysis. Our first text for analysis is the classic novel, The Catcher in the Rye, by J.D. Salinger.
We are still going to be practicing essays for the Regents exam but we are shifting primary focus to developing our own essay structures based on personal analysis, thesis development, and supporting evidence.
