Mark Twain said, "Find a job you enjoy doing and you will never have to work a day in your life." This is exactly how I feel about teaching computer science at MMS. There is no other school I would rather be than Mayfield. I am blessed to be able to blend my two careers and have never had to work a day in my life since.

After earning a computer accounting degree, I worked as a computer programmer for 8 years until I realized teaching was my calling. I went back to college and earned my teaching degree in ELA & math then taught 7th & 8th grade Reading for 16 years at MMS. In 2019 I was given an opportunity to create a computer curriculum at MMS and have taught computer science since. 

I'm a life-long learner and live for creative challenges that keep me discovering new things. Helping others incorporate tech to make their lives easier is my jam! Bring me your tech questions and, while I may not (probably won't) have an answer right away, I will enjoy the challenge in figuring it out! 

I am a complete nerd and have always loved all things techy.
