Reading Resources

As you use the resources below you may come across a book that we don't have in our school library.  If so, fill out the "Suggest a Book!" document on the left.  We will add it in to our next library book order.  Thanks for your help!

Dogobooks - Here you'll find books reviewed by kids for kids.

Teaching Books - This site has sooooo much to offer including:  for fun activities, book suggestions and homework help.

Library Thing - Enter a book title to find reviews, tagged topics from that book and suggestions for other similar books you may like.

KidsLit TV - Award winning amazing site that includes author/illustrator interviews, read-a-louds, video how-tos and much more!

Spaghetti Book Club - Another well organized site that reviews books.  What makes this site unique is that it not only allows kids to review books, but they also have the opportunity to upload their own illustrations from the story.

NoveList - Children's fiction recommendation resource with read-alikes, discussion guides, reading lists, and more.

DOGOnews - Read news articles and watch short about current events.

Book Club for Kids - Podcasts abound on this site!  Listen to audio reviews of your favorite books as well as podcasts from authors.

Storyline Online - Listen to animated stories read by members of the screen actors guild.
