My name is Kerry Lake and I teach fifth grade. I grew up in South Burlington, Vermont and am an alum of Boston College and St. Michael's College. I began my teaching career at Robinson Elementary in 2000, I took a few years in between to travel the world, teach in Hood River, Oregon, and start our family. We returned to Vermont in 2013 to settle in Hinesburg. My husband, Peter, teaches 1/2 in Williston and our son, Sawyer, will start high school in the fall. I love to trail run, mountain bike, ski, read, listen to live music, hang out with friends and travel. The most recent highlight of my professional career was being awarded a Fulbright Teachers For Global Classrooms Fellowship and visiting Uruguay in the summer of 2023.
