Helping our students to see themselves as informed, involved and active citizens of a global society is of utmost importance for educators today. We must help students to understand who they are and where they call home while building their capacity to consider and respect perspectives of their counterparts around the world. With this as a guide, we can help students to uncover their power as agents of collective, positive change in the world. Global Education is not extra work. It is THE work.
Our goal is for students to understand themselves, reach out to exchange perspectives with peers around the world in order to create a world where everyone can grow and thrive together.
