As a math educator, my greatest joy lies in witnessing the transformative journey of my students. Beyond the numbers and equations, my mission is to cultivate a deep-rooted belief in their own abilities and a genuine love for learning.
I've seen firsthand the struggles many students face with math, feeling trapped in a cycle of doubt and frustration. I'm here to break those barriers and unlock the untapped potential within each student, regardless of their age or current math proficiency.
Every student is unique, with their own set of strengths and challenges. I approach teaching with empathy and adaptability, tailoring my methods to suit the individual needs of every learner the best I can.
We will tackle the challenges of math while celebrating every success along the way. My commitment goes beyond the classroom; I aspire to build confidence, resilience, and a lifelong passion for learning.
In the end, my goal is simple: to empower students to embrace their mathematical journey with courage and curiosity, knowing that with determination and support, they can achieve anything they set their minds to.

Taylor is very knowledgeable and passionate about math. She exudes confidence in her abilities and it helps ease the worries of parents and students. Taylor is very systematic on how she approaches each session, and ensures to align to what the students are currently learning in class. She teaches them a different way to approach a concept to help deepen the understanding. It is evident that Taylor researches the concepts beforehand and the students walk away with great notes to carry with them in class. As a result of working with Taylor, my daughter has become more confident and her classmates are always asking her to explain the concepts to them. We know that she will be ready for high school thanks to Taylor.

You take the time to explain something over and over again until it clicks. Now in tutoring you are pre-teaching lessons so he feels more confident going into new concepts in class. Not only did you change his hatred and insecurity for math, but you gave him a safe space to go every single day at school. If you could please infect every teacher with the patience and love you give to the students, that would be awesome. You are the epitome of what a teacher should be.

Taylor/Mrs. Barcellos is more than a tutor; she's an exceptional educator. She seamlessly combines her teaching expertise with an engaging and supportive approach, making a profound impact on our son's academic journey. Thanks to her guidance, he successfully navigated his freshman year of math—a feat we couldn't have imagined without her assistance. Taylor's thoroughness, patience, and vibrant personality make her sessions both enjoyable and informative. Highly recommend!
