iPad Setup
Welcome to Mater Dei!
Your MD iPad has been specifically assigned to you and the following has already been set up (you will find account details on the Information sticker that came with your new iPad):
- Your Apple ID
- Your MD Student email
**You MUST CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS and security questions to these accounts as soon as possible.
**DO NOT add credit card information to your Apple ID / iTunes account until you have changed them.
iTunes Purchases (Apps, iBooks etc)
The first time you choose and app or iBook to download you will be asked to review your iTunes account information and your home address and entering your credit card for purchases.
Pre - Installed Apps
iBooks - for etexts
ShelfIt - for e-texts
Kindle - for e-texts
Please be aware, you may also receive pop up messages over the next few days prompting you to install a number of other apps provided by Mater Dei including:
Pages Keynote Numbers Notability Laudate Destiny Google Drive iMovie etc.
Adding Website Links Your iPad Home Screen

All Freshmen will undergo Library and Technology Orientations during the first weeks of school.
Please don't worry if you experience difficulties with any part of this setup. We are here to help! The Tech Hub staff, Library/Tech Orientation leaders, and your classroom teachers will be showing you how to use your Mater Dei iPad over the coming days and weeks!
