Social Studies in the middle school is a comprehensive study of these four topics: History, Physical & Cultural Geography, Map Skills, and Continent Study. The expectation is that students will be able to integrate new information, develop their abilities to think, reason, and conduct research. Lessons will guide students to encounter new concepts, principles, and issues relating to the aforementioned topics.
