7th Grade Technology – Things to Know
Headphones/Earbuds: Bring wired headphones (aux cord). No AirPods, Beats, Bluetooth, or USB.
Devices: Phones, AirPods, and Apple Watches are not allowed in classrooms. If brought out, they’ll be collected and returned at the end of the day.
Chromebooks: Must be charged daily for every class.
Computers: We mainly use Macs in tech class, but sometimes Chromebooks in the lab.
Food & Drink: No food or gum. Water bottles must stay on the center tables, not near the Macs.
Expectations: Show respect, work hard, and stay focused. Tech is fun but takes effort and a willingness to make mistakes.
Positive Behavior: I use a PBS (Positive Behavior System) to reward positive choices.
Support: I believe in your potential and I’m always here if you need help or just someone to talk to.

Be quiet during bellringers and when lining up.
Stay focused, on task, and complete work on time.
This is what an aux cord looks like. This type of cord can be used with chromebooks and the Macs in my lab. You can purchase headphones/earbuds with an aux cord at any electronic store, Amazon, Target, Five Below, etc.
