Crisis Intervention

Crisis is when a student is in need of immediate outside support, beyond the scope of what the school counselor can address in the school setting.

If we believe a child is in crisis, risk assessments will be administered and Administration will be contacted, along with the parents/guardians of the students. Depending on the severity, we may also need to be in contact with outside Mental Health Professionals or may need to call 911. If you believe your child may struggling and is thinking about harming themselves, please use the resources below.
