Please join us in collecting items for
BLANKETS & BLESSING BAGS.
Just recently I have noticed the number of less fortunate in our community has increased. There are many individuals that are homeless and I would like to help out in a small way. My intention is to pass out blankets and blessing bags to those I see on my morning drive to MAST. In addition, blankets & blessing bags will be donated to the HAC Homestead Family Shelter. These blessing bags are simply care packages in a gallon size zip-lock bag with a special message. While these blessing bags are not too much to give, they will be very useful and are greatly needed. MAST @ Homestead students will be working together to make this project a success.

If you can create a blessing bag and donate it completed please do so.
If not, we will be more than happy to take loose donation items. Our students will work together to build these care packages and get them ready to be passed out.
Please take a look at the checklist below.
We need thermal blankets (NOT COMFORTERS)
For example. for the blessing bags, we need...
toothpaste
deodorant
soap
trial size shampoo / conditioner
non perishable snack
wipes
bottled water
vitamins
snack size bag of quarters (for a wash & dry at the laundry)
floss
sunscreen
chap stick
these are just some of the many items that you can use for the blessing bag or donate to our project
These are just a few of the items that will be very useful and can be packed into a gallon size ziplock. Once again see the checklist of items below.
Our focus is mostly on toiletry and personal hygiene products.
Once again, if you can help us by donating supplies for these care packages we will be extremely grateful.
Our immediate goal is 30 blankets and 30 Blessing Bags.
