Technology:
MaST III guidelines state that cell phones and other electronic devices are not permitted in the classroom. Cell phones should be placed in your locker prior to the start of your classes. Students will not be allowed to text, check their phone, or submit assignments through their phone. Chromebooks should be charged each night and be ready to use to complete classroom lessons and activities.
Plagiarism:
Plagiarism (or intellectual theft) includes "the reproduction, in whole, or essential part, of a literary, artistic, or musical work by one who falsely claims to be its creator." (Encyclopedia Americana, 2003). "The unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work."
Plagiarism will not be tolerated and if caught plagiarizing, will be handled by myself and administration to handle procedural steps and consequences. Further information on plagiarism can be found in the handbook ( available on the resource tab) When in doubt, cite it out!
