About Me

Hello 9th graders! My name is Mr. Wade and I am thrilled to have you in my classroom this semester. I graduated with a degree in English Textual Studies from Syracuse University (Go Orange!) and achieved my Master's degree from Saint Joseph's University right here in Philadelphia in Secondary English Education (The Hawk never Dies!). I have experiences both in and out of the education field ranging from working in the sports industry for the Boston Red Sox to working in education as a private tutor, Special Education, and English Language Learning.
    I love to read and write, so I am clearly in the right profession. But more importantly, I love how we can all improve ourselves each day whether it be through learning a new idea, a new way of thinking, or just by a simple interaction with a classmate or teacher. I enjoy watching all sports. However, baseball and football are at the top of my list. I am an avid Disney fan and of theme parks in general. I love to cook and try new cuisines and restaurants around the Philadelphia area.
