Class Information:

In Math Class, we’ll focus on building a strong foundation in math skills while making learning engaging and fun! Students will work on problem-solving, critical thinking, and real-world applications of math concepts. Whether it’s mastering basic operations, exploring geometry, or diving into fractions and decimals, we’ll ensure everyone grows at their own pace.

• Mondays & Wednesdays: Hands-on activities and group work to reinforce concepts.

• Tuesdays & Thursdays: Time dedicated to MyPath for self-paced practice.

• Fridays: Fun challenges, games, and real-life math problems to keep skills sharp!

Grading Breakdown

Homework= 10%

Quizzes= 15%

Classwork= 35%

Tests= 40%

Classroom Expectations

• Respect: Treat others and their ideas with kindness.

• Focus: Stay on task and engaged in learning.

• Patience: Give everyone time to learn and grow.

• No Cellphones: Phones must stay off and away. If seen, they will be turned into the dean.

Materials Needed:

• Charged Chromebook Every Day

• Pencil

• Notebook (Preferably Spiral) 

Assignments

• Homework: 1–2 assignments per week.

• Weekly Grade: 30 minutes of MyPath (counts as one weekly grade).
