Hi! I'm Mrs. Hope Sytnik, and I'm so excited to be starting my 4th year at MaST Community Charter School III and my 7th year in education! Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching students in 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 10th, and 11th grade, and this year I'm thrilled to continue supporting high school students as they prepare for life after graduation.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in PK–6 Education and my Master's degree in Education, along with certifications as a Reading Specialist and in Special Education, from Holy Family University. I'm passionate about helping every student discover their strengths, build confidence, and realize that success can look different for everyone. Whether we're working on academics, post-secondary planning, or building important life skills, my goal is to create a classroom where students feel supported, challenged, and celebrated.
When I'm not teaching, I'm usually spending time with my family, cheering on my son Isaac, or finding new ways to make learning engaging (and maybe a little fun and quirky). I firmly believe that a positive classroom, a sense of humor, and strong relationships make all the difference.
And because every great classroom deserves a little personality… don't be surprised if you catch a SpongeBob reference now and then. After all, as SpongeBob reminds us, "I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready!" That's the energy I'm bringing to another amazing school year!
I can't wait to learn, laugh, and grow together. Here's to a fantastic year!
