In this course, we’ll be focusing on the physical processes that shape our planet and beyond. That means looking at topics like energy, forces, weather, climate, the Earth’s systems, and even space. We’ll connect physics and chemistry concepts to real-world examples in Earth science—like why storms form, how oceans and the atmosphere interact, and what drives natural phenomena like earthquakes and volcanoes.
By the end of the year, you’ll have a stronger understanding of the science behind the Earth and universe we live in, while also building problem-solving, observation, and critical thinking skills that you can take with you into college, careers, and everyday life.
