Important Rules
No peanuts or tree nuts: This includes walnuts, almonds, cashews, pecans, ground nuts, and all other nuts.
No nut butters: Please do not send peanut butter, almond butter, or nutella.
Check the labels: Avoid snacks made in a facility that processes nuts or containing hidden nut oils.
Thank you for helping us keep every student safe and healthy.
Snacks:
Students are welcome to bring a healthy snack. We are a nut-free environment—please make sure snacks and lunches do not contain nuts. We do not have a refrigerator or microwave in the classroom.
Please use an ice pack if food needs to be kept cold. I do have a snack bin that can hold non-perishable food items for the week.
Lunch:
Students will eat lunch in the MPR (Multi-purpose Room).
4th grade lunch: 11:00
6th grade lunch: 12:30
Accommodations:
We can make accommodations based on individual student needs. If your child requires assistance with opening packages, specific utensils, or a special seating arrangement, please let me know.
Allergies:
Inform the school nurse and me about any food allergies so we can ensure safety.
Food and Water bottles:
Please send in a snack and a water bottle daily in addition to lunch. Students will always have access to water and their snacks. We have a set time for snack time, however, students are encouraged to communicate their needs for food and water throughout the day if they are hungry or thirsty. Water bottles are encouraged over sippy cups.
