About Me

Welcome to my teacher page! My name is Pattirriccia Ryan, Patti, and I am thrilled to be a full-time Special Education teacher here at MaST. My journey with the MaST II community began back in 2016, even before we officially opened our doors. Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving our school in many different capacities—including assistant art teacher, personal care assistant (PCA), front office assistant, classroom assistant, and a long-term special education substitute on two separate occasions. Working alongside some of MaST II’s finest educators inspired me to further my own education, earning a Master’s of Education from Neumann University with dual certifications in General Education (PK-4th) and Special Education (PK-12th).

MaST II holds a very special place in my heart, as my family has been deeply woven into the fabric of this school from the very beginning. I am happily married and the proud mother of two MaST II students. My daughter started here in kindergarten in 2016 when we first opened the school's doors, and my son joined us when we officially opened the high school. He had the distinct honor of being in MaST II's very first graduating class in June of 2023, and my daughter is now a sophomore, on track to be a part of the historic first class to go entirely from K-12. In addition to being a founding parent, I have been a dedicated member of AMP (Association of MaST II Parents) since our opening, frequently organizing and helping with school activities and fundraisers—though I took a brief year off from the association to complete my Master’s degree. Having deep roots as an educator, volunteer, and founding parent gives me a unique perspective, and I am fully dedicated to supporting all of our learners as they grow, achieve, and succeed.
