Expectations
Safety is our main priority. Because we want everyone to stay safe and have fun, all students must meet the following expectations throughout the trip:
Stay with your group and chaperone at all times.
Keep the buses and hotel rooms neat and clean.
Follow directions of all chaperones and tour guides, especially when walking through the city. Sometimes we will need to move quickly, so it is essential to pay attention at all times when instructions are given.
You are responsible for your personal items. Please only bring essential items with you, ang label them so you can identify your items easily.
All school rules apply, including no vaping or tobacco, drug, or alcohol use. Dress code expectations also apply at all times. If a student becomes a discipline issue, they will be sent home at their family's expense.
Additional Policies and Procedures
We have the following policies and procedures in place to help us make sure all students' needs are met throughout the trip.
Medications must be labeled and turned in to Mrs. Mamidi before we leave. Prescription medications must either be on file with MJHS or be accompanied by a form from your doctor. For non-prescription medications such as Tylenol and Advil, we must have a non-prescription form on file, and we will provide those medications for students as necessary.
If there are any special medical needs, please tell Mrs. Mamidi and your chaperone.
Because we want to make sure all students have enough money to eat dinner on the way home, please enclose $10 in an envelope with your child's name on it, and give it to Mrs. Mamidi before we leave.
Please contact Mrs. Mamidi at jmamidi@massillonschools.org or 330.830.3902 ext. 52809 with any questions you may have.
