The data in this histogram represents the number of questions answered correctly by my students. When looking at the first benchmark, it is easy to see that the students only had 3-14 correct answers on the test. As we progress through the year, these lines should move toward the right to show an increased number of questions answered correctly each time.

The data represented in the chart below shows an item analysis of each question on the test. As students learn and practice the skills, they become better at the skills. When looking at the first benchmark, you might notice that students did not have very much success after a certain question. That is because some of the material at the beginning of the test might have been at least somewhat familiar to them. As we progress through the year, these numbers will increase toward the 100% mark to show mastery of individual skills.
