3rd & 4th Grade

As we sang the song "Blue Skies," we talked about the shape of the melody and compared it to a city skyline.  The city skyline would be less interesting if all the buildings were the same size and shape, just like a song would be less interesting if all the notes were the same!  The students then worked to create their own interesting skylines.
