Schedule Change Request



Schedule Change Request 2022-2023Schedule Change Request 2022 - 2023 School Year Schedule Change Policy Please complete a schedule change form if you have a request that fits within the MCHS change policy. A great deal of time is invested in the registration and scheduling process. Teacher allotments are dictated by the courses that students sign up for in the spring. For these reasons, no changes will be allowed unless they are deemed necessary by the school. Schedules will be changed ONLY for the following reasons: 1. If you are missing a core course. 2. If you have an incomplete schedule (fewer than 7 class periods). 3. If you need to repeat a failed requirement (Health, English, Math, Science, US History). 4. If you have already passed and received credit for a course. The last day to submit a request to change a schedule is FRIDAY, AUGUST 19, 2022. FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL IS THURSDAY, AUGUST 11, 2022 YOU ARE BEING PROVIDED 7 SCHOOL DAYS TO DECIDE IF THE ELECTIVE COURSE YOU HAVE SELECTED IS A GOOD FIT. ANY REQUESTS SUBMITTED AFTER FRIDAY, AUGUST 19TH WILL NOT BE REVIEWED. Semester 2 Schedule changes are only allowed the 1st (2) days of the second semester. There are limited options for Semester 2 changes as many courses are year long courses. Students will need to check their ALMA student portal to verify that the schedule change has been completed. Individual emails will not be sent out. If your counselor has not contacted you and your schedule has not been changed in your ALMA student portal, that means that your request has not been processed yet. Please be patient and follow the schedule in your student portal.
