Scheduling Timeline
January 9 - February 2: MMS/MHS Teacher Talks with Students
January 23: MMS Scheduling Meetings at Mason Middle School
January 23: MMS Parent Scheduling Presentation
January 24: MHS Parent Scheduling Presentation at MHS (for students in rising grades 10-12)
January 26 - January 31: HAC open (3:00pm) for Rising 9th grade students
January 30: Counselor Meetings for Rising 10 - 12 grade students
February 5 - 9: In person counselor verification for Rising 9th grade students
February 9 - February 14: HAC open (3:00pm) for Rising 10 - 12 grade students
February 23: Verification Letters Distributed to all students
February 24 - February 28: Collect Verification Letters - REQUIRED!
March 22: Final deadline for ALL course request changes
**The information below primarily applies to students entering grades 10 -12. For more detailed information regarding students entering grade 9, please visit the Class of 2028 Information tab.
Attend Counselor Meeting on January 30 - time and location will be posted to Schoology.
1st bell - Rising 10th grade
2nd bell - Rising 11th grade
3rd bell - Rising 12th grade
Complete and/or Update your Four Year Plan (Current Grades 10 and 11 only).
The Four Year Plan is designed to be a rough draft and working document of your high school career. Changes to the plan each year are very common as you progress academically and your interests change. We encourage you to update this plan as often as needed, with a minimum of at least once per year.
This is a requirement by the State of Ohio!

If you are a student new to Mason, please complete the entire 4 year plan. If you have submitted a plan that you would like to update, you may click the link to make necessary changes.
Current 9th grade students will complete a Four Year Plan later this Spring with their counselors.
Choose courses from the Course Selector Form for 2024-2025 School Year.

We encourage students to consider the following when selecting courses for the upcoming school year:
Balance, Rigor, Career Interests
Enter course selections for 2024-2025 into Home Access Center (HAC).
February 9 - February 14 - HAC open for students in grades 9-11 to enter course requests.
Important! Students must be logged into their student HAC account in order to enter course requests.
Pay close attention to course codes when entering requests.
**NEW this year: Complete and turn in Scheduling Verification Contract**
Students will receive the Verification Contract during English classes on February 22 and 23 (students without an English class will be distributed separately).
Students will review the courses they selected in HAC and complete the required scheduling questions.
Parent/Guardian and Student signatures are required.
Completion and returning this form is required to finalize your course requests.
Counselors will meet with individual students if there are concerns or requests are incomplete.
Students may request a meeting with their counselor via email to review selections and/or ask questions.
Complete 2024-2025 Bus Registration
REQUIRED!
ALL students must complete the William Mason High School Bus Registration for the 2024-2025 school year. Please indicate if you will be a DAILY bus rider, EMERGENCY USE only bus rider, or if you will not use bussing at all next school year. If you select emergency use only, you will have a place on a school bus when needed. This information will help transportation accurately assign bus routes.
