Clever is a utility that brings learning applications into one place that can be accessed through a single, secure login for students. Once students log into Clever, they can access other applications without additional sign ins.
How will students access Clever?
Students in grades 2-6 can access Clever in Masonconnects or at Clever.com. They will need to login using their Google Account.
Students in preK-2 can use Clever badges. These are QR codes that students can scan, and it will log them into Clever. Here, they will access Seesaw and other applications to support their learning without any additional logins.
Students using iPads will need to download the Clever app.
Here is how you can access and print Clever badges for students.
Note: When a new student enrolls mid-year, it takes a a day or two after their start date for them to be able to access Clever.
Clever already has many applications that students can use. What if I want to add another application that my students need to access?
Teachers have the ability to add applications that will personalize their students' experience. Watch this video to see a demonstration of how to add a learning application, and also as an overview of Clever.
How can I share files with students through Clever?
You can create a Teacher Page in Clever. In your teacher page, you can add applications, links, or something from your Google Drive (like a slide deck, a file, etc.).
