• Search for Children's Books Award Winners

  • ALSC's Notable Children's Books - Each year the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) identifies the best of the best of children's books on the Notable Children's Books list.

  • ALSC's Notable Children's Recordings - Each year the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) identifies the best of the best in children's recordings on the Notable Children's Recordings list.

  • Newbery Medal Finalists and Winners - The Newbery Medal is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children. 

• Search for Teen's Books Award Winners

  • Alex Awards - The Alex Awards are given to ten books written for adults that have special appeal to young adults, ages 12 through 18.  

  • YALSA's Best Fiction for Young Adults  - YALSA’s Best Fiction for Young Adults Blogging Team presents fiction titles published for young adults in the past 14 months that are recommended reading for ages 12 to 18.

  • Scholastic's Diverse and Inclusive Books to Inspire Young Adults  - Scholastic aims to engage young adult readers with these diverse YA books featuring representative characters and culturally responsive themes.

  • YALSA Amazing Audiobooks for Young Adults   - Each year, YALSA's Amazing Audiobooks Blogging Team selects and annotates an annual list of notable audio recordings significant to young adults from those released in the past two years

  • YALSA Award for Excellence in Nonfiction - This annual award will be given to the producer of the best audiobook produced for children and/or young adults, available in English in the United States.

  • YALSA "Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers" - This list identifies titles aimed at encouraging reading among teens who dislike to read for whatever reason. The list selects fiction, nonfiction, and graphic novel titles. Criteria for these titles include those with a high interest "hook", a catchy title/cover, sufficient plot to sustain interest, humor when appropriate, and more.
