Are you considering a career in politics? Come to our state capitol to meet with legislators and their staff to see many positions and opportunities to serve in a civic capacity. Students will tour the state capitol building and meet with elected officials and their staff for a panel discussion and Q & A session.

Non-Profit Organization Careers

Working for a Non-Profit organization is mission-driven work, and some of the most fulfilling work you can do! Help make others’ lives better through working for or establishing your own non-profit organization. Students will get to work through common issues in the non-profit sector, and meet with various industry professionals.

Some examples of Non-Profit organizations are:

• Advocacy groups like the American Cancer Society

• Local chambers of commerce

• Animal rescue organizations and environmental groups like the World Wildlife Federation

• Foundations supporting education, health, and industry initiatives
