When is the best time to join MASD CAOLA?

Students do best when they join MASD CAOLA during key transition points in a school year.  The best time to begin MASD CAOLA is at the very beginning of the year, or the first two weeks of school. Changes in educational placement are a team decision, and can be honored at the start of the school year and the beginning of Semester 2. Requests to transfer at other times will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Secondary Marking Period End Dates:

Marking Period 1:  October 23

Marking Period 2: January 8

School end date: Friday, May 29
