AI Policy

AI, or Artificial Intelligence, is a set of instructions and algorithms that help computers learn from data, recognize patterns, and make decisions. Just like humans learn from their experiences, AI learns from the information it's given. 

You may not use AI apps, programs, websites, or other tools to do schoolwork or complete assignments without specific permission from your teacher. Turning in work that is generated by AI is plagiarism/cheating. The consequences for plagiarism can include: 

1. First offense: conference with teacher, write up, email/phone call home, after-school detention and the chance to redo the assignment for partial credit.

2. Second offense: conference, write up, email/phone call home, after-school detention, and a zero on the assignment.
