Hi there!

This is my fifth year here at Mechanicsburg Middle School, and I couldn't be more excited to get continue teaching ELA to our 6th grade Adventurers!

My husband and I moved to the area a few years ago from our hometown of Dover, Delaware. Before moving to Pennsylvania, I taught 7th grade English/Language Arts in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. 

I graduated from the University of Delaware in 2017 with an Honors B.A. in Secondary English Education, where I also minored in Theatre Studies. In 2019, I also obtained an M.Ed. in Instruction: Teaching and Learning from Wilmington University.

In my spare time, I enjoy writing, working on arts and crafts projects, and reading. My favorite musical artist is Taylor Swift, my favorite TV show is The Dragon Prince on Netflix, and I love musicals too! My husband and I also enjoy TV, movies, and music of all sorts. We love to hike and spend time with our three pets, Mr. Sir, Duck, and Boston.
