Assemblies are an important part of our Personal Development programme. Assemblies support the small school model, with colleges coming together to learn and reflect. Student successes, both in and outside of the Academy, are recognised regularly. There is also a modular 'Rewards' assembly, where students receive school badges and certificates for their achievements in academic excellence, character and culture. Assemblies support our focus on Fundamental British Values and the MYP Learner Profile traits.
Each week assemblies are held for the colleges:
Tuesday - Shackleton
Wednesday - Luther King
Thursday - Earhart
Marie Curie College and individual year groups have additional assemblies are required.
