Launched in 2006 in the Silicon Valley, Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth — a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. This unique concept brings together demonstrations, discovery workshops, spectacles and conferences around the themes of creativity, fabrication, and the idea of DIY and Maker.
