Indie Games

Most indie games are found on platforms like Steam, a popular program that's downloaded onto PCs that allows you to download and play games. Most games do cost money but many games are Free to Play. Steam also has their own console called the Steam Deck, which enables gamers to take their game on the go.

Of course, big names in consoles such as Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo have taken up Indie games as well. Popular titles like Minecraft and Shovel Knight for example, started out as independent games. Minecraft was since bought out by Microsoft, and games like Shovel Knight have been brought to home consoles.

Indie gaming is a great way to bring your own idea for a game to life, or if you're dissatisfied with the current game market you can basically do it yourself.

If you aren't a programmer, you can always get a program like game maker or RPG maker to help you set it up.

This page will be dedicated to reviewing indie games that are currently on the market.
