Week of April 6, 2020

Update Information- More information from the state is coming. We will be making changes according to the guidelines from the state. I will keep you informed as I know more.

Packet Work- Look for the March 23/March30 Worksheet Packet available for pickup pending new guidelines for schools for the remainder of the year (unless you already picked up) I will message/email when these will become available. There may be more packets to come for the remainder of the school year.

Start doing a page or two a day based on the families schedule.

Math- 2 Assignments

1. See videos below. Making and recognizing Teen Numbers. Make sure that you review these throughout the week.

2. Review Across and Up and Down Addition/subtraction- See video below. Practice writing these problem up and down instead of across. 2+1=, 3+2=, 4+0=, 2+2=, 1+4=, 5-3= 2-2=, 3-1=, 4-2=, 1-0=

Storytime- Fairy Tales- Little Red Riding Hood: A New Fangled Prairie Tale What is your favorite character and why.

ABC Letter and Letter Sounds- Go to the ABC Practice Tab. Practice sounders with Mrs. Anderson and then pick a video to watch your choice(s).

Independent Reading- Go to Home Page. Click on Websites and Apps tab. See Epic. Follow the directions. OR see below link. Password: uxl6109

Writing- Use 2 stories from the story time versions Little Red Riding Hood and write how the two stories are the same. Remember to use correct letter formation, spacing between words, correct punctuation and a capital letter at the beginning of the sentence. See below for journal paper. Print at home. Sight Words- Go to Home Page. Click on Sight Words tab. You should find a power point presentation with the sight words. I added some ideas/links on how to practice your sight words.

Science- Motion- how something moves. See links below. Later this week I will add some science journal pages for your child to do.
