Week of April 13, 2020

Update Information- More information from the state is coming. We will be making changes according to the guidelines from the state. I will keep you informed as I know more.

Packet Work- Look for the March 23/March30 Worksheet Packet available for pickup pending new guidelines for schools for the remainder of the year (unless you already picked up) I will message/email when these will become available. There may be more packets to come for the remainder of the school year.

Start doing a page or two a day based on the families schedule.

Math- 2 Assignments

1. See videos below. Continue to work on making and recognizing Teen Numbers. Make sure that you review these throughout the week. See worksheet printable.

2. Addition and Subtraction Practice- See printable worksheets below.

Storytime- Fairy Tales- The Three Little Pigs. See below for video and printable worksheets. What is your favorite character and why.

ABC Letter and Letter Sounds- Go to the ABC Practice Tab. Practice sounders with Mrs. Anderson and then pick a video to watch your choice(s). I have added a few more videos...blends, diagraphs (h brothers- ch, sh, th, wh)

Independent Reading- Go to Home Page. Click on Websites and Apps tab. See Epic. Follow the directions.

Writing- Use 2 stories from the story time versions The Three Little Pigs and write how the two stories are the same. Remember to use correct letter formation, spacing between words, correct punctuation and a capital letter at the beginning of the sentence. See below for journal paper. Print at home. Use the sentence starter..... My favorite character in the story ___________ was ____________. He/she............

Sight Words- Go to Home Page. Click on Sight Words tab. You should find a power point presentation with the sight words. I added a Sight Word Mat. Pick an activity each day off the mat

Science- Motion- how something moves. See links below called Move It. Try the mini experiments Push It and Puffing Power. (Send me a picture or video of you trying it!).
