Nursery Curriculum

All of the termly topics are based around the children's interests allowing for flexibility and working in the moment.

We take into consideration child led interests/play and welcome ideas expressed from the children to progress and further promote learning in the planned topics.

Each topic within the planning is based around all the areas in the EYFS including adult led activities.

The three prime areas of learning are: Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language and Physical Development, these are ingrained into our everyday learning.

The children have daily Phonics 'Tuning into Sounds' sessions to prepare them for the next stage of their reading journey, and daily number activities.

The Nursery children learn both indoors and outside, enjoying the school grounds and extensive surrounding meadows and woodland.
