good vs evil is a classic theme in just about any fairy tail movies/ books, the good witch of the north and south helping helping the town and then the wicked witches are super mean and kills people left right and centre and even slaves them!

home isn't just about Dorothy getting home to her uncle and auntie its about everyone finding were there home is and finding there true self inside and out

the friendship is a big key theme in the movie as they team up to go to the emerald city to get back home or to have heart and if they didn't bond Dorothy might've never got home!
