Dorothy

Dorothy is the female protagonist in the film and book, she lived in a small farm in the city of Kansas and lived with her auntie em and uncle Henry and also her dog Toto. she was moved to the land of oz when a hurricane swept up her house and landed in the mysterious land of oz. when her house had landed in oz it had somehow landed on the wicked witch of the east and killing her.

her backstory is pretty usual for a 12 year old farm girl, she didn't have anything spectacular as they did live in Kansas but she was pretty happy for what she had, she was lucky enough to have Toto her Cairn Terrier canine by her side day and night,

in the start of the film one of Dorothy's neighbours was really mad at her because Toto had bit her on the leg and claimed that her dog was taken away and she would give it to the sheriffs office! from what I think I don't think she had a great up bringing and I bet she wasn't to happy. (just pointing out this is what im thinking) she lived in a pretty isolated farm and it didn't seem like there was anyone around so she it didn't seem like she had many friends😭.
