How do they compare to other carnivorous plants?

The pitcher plant unlike most carnivorous plants has the perfect name and is most recognisable through its looks with its curved walls and slippery inner walls giving it a unique way to catch prey. Something else unique about this plant is were it lives, it can live from Australia to China just so long as it has warmth.
